Using Scrapbooking Paper, is it stealing?
Okay so I’m starting a Myspace layout website and I just had an idea.
My mom is a scrapbooker. She’s got boxes upon boxes filled with scrapbooking paper with vintage designs on them (not the corny paper you’d usually think of), and those boxes are just sitting in the closet not being put to use.
Would it be a copyright infringement for me to scan the paper and use the patterns as Myspace layout backgrounds? The patterns are so pretty and it’s sad to see them go to waste.
So would it be alright for me to do that? Are there any rules I should know about? I’m not selling the paper, but would it count as redistributing the design?
no… i don’t think that it will be copyright infringement since you or ur mom own the paper, and you bought it legally, hence you can do watever you want to do wid ur paper…
